Cyclonopedia is a book by Reza Negarestani presenting the Middle East as a sentient entity[1], with oil as a chthonic force. It draws on Deleuzian philosophy[2], Hyperstition[3], Lovecraftian horror[4], and Tellurian power[2]. Cyclonopedia "artificial" swarm intelligence formed from the human collective.

R.N. himself is a worshipper of Ahriman, the god of darkness in Zoroastrianism, dualistic opponent to Ahura Mazda, god of light.[5]

Infrared as Cyclonopedia

Haz described the result of free speech on Red Star and Infrared as a cyclonopedia:[6]

"It's like a tornado. It's like Cyclonopedia. There's this Middle Eastern chaos that I fuck with. This Islamic way of doing things... whipping people into a frenzy of mobilization based on an esoteric conviction and just seeing how the swarm dynamics play out... The Islamic method of rule is like constant cyclical Cyclonopedia tornado chaos that emerges into, or is guided by, a single center. One center and then a horde of equals. Very little hierarchy... an artificial swarm intelligence... out of the chaos an emergent order emerges.

And it's like this Darwinism where the best position just rises to the top based on what people recognize as the truth. I have a fundamental faith in the forum that we basically have total openness, but people will have the right discernment, the right judgment to come to the right conclusion, as long as people are willing to have the willpower to fight for the truth. (Those people including me.)

I've learned that from the Infrared community. Infrared is so distinct because in the earliest days we literally had a no censorship policy. We're not banning for ideology, say whatever the fuck you want, just follow the discord rules. We don't give a fuck. And it was chaos. But out of that chaos, something very beautiful came. It's very Islamic.

Class interests as cyclonopedia

Both proletarian and bourgeois class interests coalesce usually not by a deliberate conspiracy, but as a cyclonopedic swarm intelligence.

The enemy operates similarly:[7]

What Resa Negarestani describes in Cyclonopedia — a complete kind of swarm intelligence. There's no one behind anything... you can only discern patterns in an impersonal way, in terms of higher forces. By higher forces, we're not talking about tangible individual will or ethnic self-interest. We're talking about conspiracies of a greater scale. We're talking about swarm intelligences.

This is also the folly of the parapolitics people because they'd be like, "this guy was in a room with this person and took a photo with this person, so that I'm going to connect the dots." You guys see that schizophrenic-retarded thing that leftist guy made where he's like, "here's the dot between Jackson, Haz, and then Dugin, and then Tucker Carlson, and then this guy in the KKK, and it's like, we are in a fundamentally interconnected world. This is the world of globalism. This is the world of Islam.[8]

Everything is fundamentally interwoven and interconnected. And the only way to discern which forces are at play, what conflicts are at play, is in terms of impersonal, more collective kinds of rationality and intelligence at play that are fundamentally impersonal, that don't have faces. There's no face to it. It's a horde. It's a swarm, this is how the world works.
