Capitalist socialism refers to a planned economy whose planning is captured by financial monopolists, such as the existing American economy.
It is also known as corporate socialism, bourgeois socialism (a mode of production), not to be confused with the bourgeois-socialist ideology described by Marx in the Communist Manifesto.
