Ukraine

Ukraine is a failed state in Eastern Europe which is being used by NATO as a forward operating base for anti-Russian activities.It has been criticized as being one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

In 2014, the United States led a coup against the government of Ukraine and installed a pro-Western government on the border of Russia, which led to the secession of the eastern regions of Donbass into the Lugansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic.

In 2022, Russia finally responded to the US-backed hostilities by Ukraine by sending in its military to liberate the Donbass regions and give the newly independent states full sovereignty against the NATO-trained-and-supported Ukrainian military.

Kim Dotcom has argued that the seeds of this conflict were sewn by the 2008 Global Financial Crisis, which challenged the USD's status as a reserve currency.

Kantbot, citing a RAND Corporation think piece, the Euromaidan Putsch was incited by America due to Turkey blocking a pipeline deal that would transport Oil from the extraction industries in Baku directly into the Eurozone. Ukraine and Georgia needed to be militarily secured for America to bypass Russia's implicit control over Azerbaijani oil-shipping through the Don-Volga river system, which shipping from the Caspian Sea must pass through to reach the world seas.

History

Ukraine means "borderland" in Russian. The Ukrainian language is effectively a dialect of Russian, being mutually intelligible. So is Belarusian. Yet Ukrainians hate this fact more than Belarusians. Why? Their history.

Ukraine first became an independent nation thanks to Vladimir Lenin, as he destroyed the Russian Empire under Kerensky, proclaimed the right of nations to self-determination, and recognized the Ukrainian People's Republic as a nation.

The workers of Ukraine, like other nations of the former Russian Empire, rose up to join the Russian Bolsheviks in forming the Soviet Union. So the Bolsheviks could have merged Ukraine with Russia. Other short-lived "national" republics of the Civil War, like the Crimean People's Republic, met such a fate. However, the Bolsheviks chose to continue recognizing Ukraine as a nation.

Due to Trotsky delaying the Brest-Litovsk Peace Treaty, Western Ukraine was captured by Poland and occupied from 1918 to 1939. To stop the spread of communist dictatorship, Poland immediately became a dictatorship of Josef Pilsudski. As its prisons worse than the Gulags filled up, Polish fascism switched to abducting and secretly murdering communists and unionists. Under these conditions, surviving Western Ukrainians developed severe Russophobia, which has carried over to modern times.

A major inspiration for modern Ukrainian nationalists is the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. This organization was founded by exiled Ukrainians in Austria in 1929 and following the trends of the time, became fascist. In response to Polish oppression, it attacked Polish leaders. However, being avowedly anti-communist, it saw the Soviets as the ultimate threat, and begged for the Nazis to save them.

Allying with the Nazis during World War II, the OUN rose up against the Soviets, taking power mainly in Western Ukraine. The Nazis ordered the OUN's self-declared state to disband in favor of their direct puppet Reichskommissariat, but the OUN continued to lick Nazi boots and fight the Soviets.

Led by Stepan Bandera, the OUN attacked civilian communists, Poles, and Jews, terrorizing women and children. Nazi propaganda praised them and the Nazis armed them.

After World War II, the OUN was funded by the CIA through Operation Aerodynamic.

National identity

After Gorbachev and Yeltsin destroyed the Soviet Union as a sacrifice of souls to Western banks, Ukraine became independent for the first serious amount of time ever. In order to subordinate Ukrainians to the Fourth Reich, Globalist elites began to forge a new "national identity" for Ukraine to divide them from Russia. Their only historical precedents for Ukraine's "independence" (bourgeois rule) were the brief Ukrainian People's Republic and the OUN. Russophobes found great common ground with the OUN.

As a result, Stepan Bandera continues to be glorified in Ukraine. Fascist ideology is promoted and widely accepted in Western Ukraine as necessary to "defend" the "nation". This means Ukrainians who would like to speak Russian and have better ties with Russia, like the Donbas, must be denied rights - even if it means throwing your own people into a meat grinder. Ukrainian fascism is expressed in movements like the Azov Battalion assimilating into the Ukrainian army to fight Russia.
