Dark Ma Lie (dark Marxism-Leninism) is Haz's name for Infrared's mature self-understanding: post-ideological Marxism-Leninism, oriented by cosmos and moral substance rather than ideological formula.
From the ICE UPRISING stream:
"Infrared's special articulation... is a lineage which I recently have articulated and like to call dark Ma Lie — dark Marxism. To explain what dark Marxism is: it is a post-ideological understanding of Marxism-Leninism... The problem of 20th century Marxism-Leninism, in both Stalin's Soviet Union and Mao's China, was that it was too ideological."
Ma Lie
马列 Ma Lie means Marx-Lenin in Chinese, as in 马列主义 Ma Lie Zhuyi, "Marxism-Leninism". The "i" in "lie" is pronounced as "ye", but the phrase is often mispronounced and misspelled as "ma li".
From the streams
Dark Ma Lie on inequality
And (MASSIVE BATTLE stream): "This is a dark Ma Li insight — dark Marxism, not the stupid shit you hear about. Marxism not only has nothing wrong with inequality, it affirms the necessity of inequality."
Marx went over this in Critique of the Gotha Program section 1, describing a communist society, where inequality results from one man supplying labor at a higher quality or duration than another.
Relation to Infrawoke
Haz is explicit: "Infrawoke is the same thing as Dark Mali" (INFRAWOKE stream). Both name the turn toward moral-civilizational content: "moral clarity, alignment with cosmos, a Confucian morality, a Shia morality, a Zoroastrian morality... a morality that has substance, not just an empty sense of superiority of the self."
