Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945) was the 32nd president of the United States, who created the New Deal and led the country into World War 2. He was allied with Joseph Stalin. He is considered an anti-imperialist who sometimes favored the proletariat by many Mecha-Tankies and MAGA Communists[1]. However, others[2] consider his socialist legacy in the USA to be the foundation of a fascistic kind of corporate socialism.
Overview
The American state socialized the commanding heights in fact (planning, coordination, control) while leaving bourgeois property forms as shell — Engels' trusts realized on American soil. What remains contested is only who commands it: the people or the financial oligarchy.
New Deal
The New Deal fulfilled maybe 20% of the Communist Manifesto (industrial armies for agriculture, abolition of town-country distinction, etc) (RED PILL NEWS | FREE PALESTINE stream): "FDR maybe did 20% of that; since then we haven't had anything like that".
NAWAPA
The North American Water and Power Alliance, part of the New Deal, was a socialist project that benefited the proletariat.
From the INFRARED SHOWDOWN: HIGHLIGHTS / full VOD:
> "We no longer have projects like we did with JFK and FDR — like NAWAPA and the CCC — for our youth to be hopeful for and for our communities to be uplifted by."
The citation comes mid-school-shooting discussion: the relevant crime is not the parents or the boy but "the people who have been running this country and denying everyone in Michigan and the United States a future to believe in." Mass despair is the product of a society without development projects.
Infrared aims to restore such projects with the World Land Bridge.
Evolution of the New Deal into corporate socialism
From the TRUE RED PILL NEWS stream:
> "A whole generation of new money emerges in the post-war period bypassing central government U.S. regulations through the City of London. This is where neoliberalism comes from, where Reaganomics comes from. Basically, the New Deal was overthrown by this new class... We're not really talking about a new class — we're talking about a new generation of the ruling class."
> "Post-war liberal democratic ideology came from the New Deal... Obama's the culmination of that ideologically. It doesn't mean Obama represents the legacy of the New Deal. When you think about this as a war between ideologies rather than conflicting material interests, it makes a lot more sense — because materially, not much has changed since Obama."
