Infrared
Infrared is a media collective led by Haz Al-Din (Ali Hammoud), producing streams, debates, and video essays since 2020. It became the intellectual center of the MAGA Communism current and later incubated the American Communist Party.
Content
Infrared's output includes:
- Multi-hour debate streams against figures across the spectrum — anarchists, Trotskyists, liberals, conservatives, and the far right (see Wanted debates).
- Theoretical lectures on Hegel, Marx, Lenin, and religion (notably Islam — see Communism is Islam, Tawhid).
- Commentary on American politics, geopolitics, and culture war questions from a patriotic-socialist line.

History
Beginning as a YouTube channel focused on debates within the online left, Infrared broke with the "dirtbag left" and anarchist currents, moving through classical Marxism-Leninism toward its distinctive synthesis of Hegelianism, patriotism, and communism. In 2022 the term MAGA Communism was coined with Jackson Hinkle; in 2024 the ACP was founded.
