Class
Class is, in Infrared's usage, not a census category but a position in the process of production and power — and the test of whether any politics is real.
The Infrared treatment
- Class against identity-substitution: the online left's replacement of class with identity categories is diagnosed as the professional-managerial stratum's own class interest dressed as universal morality — gatekeepers defending institutional positions (RED PILL NEWS: the pan-leftists hostile to MAGA Communism "because it undermines their kind of class position as institutional gatekeepers").
- Class against vulgar economism: from the FBI AFTER ME! stream — modes of production as living organisms with cycles of reproduction; class is a relation within this organism, not an income bracket.
- The patriotic resolution: "you recognize the contradiction between the material soil of your country and the ruling class and the state that represents it... I'm not giving up on the American people" (Twitter Space on CPUSA) — the nation is not the enemy of class politics; the ruling class is. This is the foundational move of MAGA Communism: separating people-from-regime (State, MAGA Communism).
