Tawhid
Appearance
Tawhid (توحيد) — the absolute oneness of Allah — is the central concept of Islam and, in Infrared's reading, the theological form of the truth communism expresses materially.
The concept
- Tawhid is not merely monotheism but the assertion of exclusive sovereignty: no partner, no rival, no autonomous power beside God. All human authority is derivative and accountable.
- Its social content: the ummah as a single community of submission to the objective order; zakat and the prohibition of riba (usury) as economic structure, not personal piety.
- Its opposite is shirk — associating partners with God — which Infrared reads as the structure of idolatry generally: the market, the nation-as-idol, the sovereign individual, capital itself.
Infrared's usage
Haz's Communism is Islam thesis makes tawhid the bridge: communism likewise refuses to associate productive powers with private sovereignty; likewise subordinates the part to the objective whole; likewise names idolatry where liberalism sees freedom. The slogan Allah, Cosmos, Xi Jinping puts tawhid first — because without absolute sovereignty as ground, "cosmos" collapses into nature-worship and "Xi Jinping" into mere statecraft.
