Pravda
Pravda ("Truth") was the central newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union — referenced in Infrared's media-theory discussions as the historical model of party press against the commodity press.
The model
- Founded by the Bolsheviks (Stalin among its early editors) as the workers' paper; under Lenin and Stalin the authoritative organ of party lines — plan campaigns, wartime reporting, ideological education.

The lesson
Infrared's media theory (developed across the 2025-26 streams on attention economy) treats both the Western press and late-Soviet Pravda as cautionary: the first commodified truth, the second bureaucratized it.
