Sovintern (the new political international) is the international of communist and anti-imperialist parties founded in 2026, of which the American Communist Party is a founding party.

The facts, per Haz

From the I'VE RETURNED. | SOVINTERN stream (May 2026), on returning from Moscow:

  • "Sovintern is the new international that the ACP is a part of. The American Communist Party is part of Sovintern. And we're just in the beginning stages. We just had our first conference. There's going to be many more that come from this. Many parties are going to join — including some that may surprise you, very strong and powerful ones."
  • Haz was in Moscow in February (photo with Galloway inside the Kremlin) "to discuss and prepare for Sovintern... The ACP has a very notable presence as one of the founding parties of Sovintern."
  • The founding conference (April): "dozens and dozens of parties... 200 representatives from 70 countries. Very well put together event."

The KPRF question

The most common objection: why A Just Russia and not the KPRF? Haz's answer:

  • A Just Russia led the initiative; the KPRF is already in Solidnet, so it has no urgency to form a new international — though "many people in the KPRF would love for Sovintern to be a collaboration between A Just Russia and KPRF," and KPRF joining is a matter of time, not principle.
  • Solidnet itself is dying: "Look at how SolidNet is structured, how the Greeks control it, how the Greeks meddle and interfere in everyone's affairs — the KKE... It's not vital, it's not fresh, it's not young."

On A Just Russia

Haz dismissed the Wikipedia-sourced panic ("they're social democrats!"): people "looked up A Just Russia on Google, looked at their Wikipedia, and went wild drawing all these different conclusions" from "the politball political LARP spectrum that apparently is just how we understand politics" (Anglo Box in action).

Significance

Sovintern is the organizational answer to the question every patriotic-socialist current faces: what does internationalism mean when the old internationals are dead or captured? Not Comintern nostalgia, not Solidnet bureaucracy — a fresh international of parties building socialism in their own national conditions against the empire (MAGA Communism, American Communist Party, George Galloway).
