Tawhid (توحيد) — the absolute oneness of Allah: not mere monotheism but exclusive sovereignty — no partner, no rival, no autonomous power beside God.

All human authority derivative and accountable. Its social content: the ummah as one community of submission to objective order; zakat and the prohibition of riba as economic structure, not personal piety. Its opposite, shirk (associating partners with God), reads in Infrared as the structure of idolatry generally — the market, the sovereign individual, capital itself.

In the Communism is Islam thesis, tawhid is the bridge: communism likewise refuses to associate productive powers with private sovereignty; likewise subordinates the part to the objective whole. In the slogan Allah, Cosmos, Xi Jinping, tawhid comes first — without absolute sovereignty as ground, "cosmos" collapses into nature-worship and "Xi Jinping" into mere statecraft.
