The context
The liberal order absorbed past struggles (Reagan absorbing MLK's whitewashed civil rights; same with South African apartheid) — but Palestine is the "inconvenient situation" it cannot absorb. When even Carter concedes the injustice, the system's moral vocabulary is exhausted (Anglo Box, Laura Loomer).
