Project Cyclone

Project Cyclone is the name used in Infrared discourse for the strategic doctrine of penetrating, capturing, and redirecting an existing mass populist movement (the MAGA movement) toward communism — rather than building a sect from scratch. The term frames Haz Al-Din's 2022-2024 strategy: communists should act as the "cyclone's eye," organizing the chaotic energy of right-populist discontent into a coherent anti-imperialist, pro-worker program.

Core claims

• The MAGA base is objectively proletarian and anti-establishment; its grievances (deindustrialization, endless war, cultural dispossession) are class grievances in ideological disguise.
• The communist task is ideological leadership, not tailism and not abstention: enter the movement, win its vanguard to Marxism-Leninism ("MAGA Communism").
• This mirrors the Comintern-era united front from below and Mao's practice of working inside broad movements.
