- Cultural: defense of family, religion, nation, and normality against both corporate-liberal wokeness and libertarian decadence.

Argument
Haz Al-Din argues that the 20th-century fusion of economic leftism with cultural liberalism (the post-60s settlement) was a bourgeois project: capital conceded cultural radicalism to defuse class politics. The authentic popular coalition — visible historically in the New Deal's conservative-progressive alliance, in patriotic communism worldwide, and today in the MAGA base's economic instincts — combines social conservatism with economic radicalism. The left-liberal refusal of this is what dooms official leftism to professional-managerial ghettos.
