The argument
- Tawhid (Tawhid) — absolute divine sovereignty relativizing all earthly powers, including market idolatry.
- Both are irreducibly communal: ummah/party, zakat/planning.
- The generational transmission problem — how revolution survives its founder — is shared terrain (the Shia reading makes authority and lineage constitutive; see Revolutionary Dynasty).
