Stalin is the most defamed man in history. This is a list of myths about Stalin, promoting historical nihilism, typically spread by Trotsky, Khrushchev, and the CIA.

Below some points, you can see that every accusation is a confession.

Reality: The primary source (https://web.archive.org/web/20160701101809/https://novayagazeta.ru/comments/73493.html) says that Lavrentiy Beria and Pavel Sudoplatov, under interrogation in 1953, said that Beria ordered Sudoplatov to negotiate with Hitler in strict secrecy. Beria of course said Stalin ordered him to, but Beria is not trustworthy (https://sovinform.net/Beria-Betrayal-1.htm). Sudoplatov also said Stalin was trying to deceive the Germans and buy time.
