The Workers Party of Great Britain (WPB) is a socialist party founded by George Galloway, standing on an anti-imperialist, pro-worker platform. Galloway's Rochdale by-election victory (February 2024) brought the party parliamentary representation.

Program highlights

  • Anti-war, anti-NATO foreign policy; opposition to the Ukraine proxy war
  • Nationalization of utilities and transport
  • Opposition to austerity and support for workers' rights
  • Free speech and anti-woke positioning that overlaps with Left-Conservatism

Relation to Infrared

Galloway has been covered positively in Infrared commentary as part of the global patriotic-left current, though tactical differences exist. [Cite specific coverage.]
