Zoran Zoltanous
Zoran Zoltanous is an American writer and publisher in the contemporary red-brown/New Right milieu — editor associated with the IM—1776 magazine and writings bridging European New Right theory with Marxist and third-worldist references.
Positions
- Advocates a "red-brown" synthesis: engagement with Marxist political economy, anti-imperialism, and multipolarity from an identitarian-nationalist starting point.
- Has written appreciatively of figures from both traditions (from Alain de Benoist to third-worldist Marxists), and participates in debates over whether patriotism and socialism can be fused — the very question Infrared answers affirmatively but on Marxist rather than identitarian foundations.
Relation to Infrared
Zoltanous represents the right-wing mirror image of MAGA Communism: convergent anti-liberalism and anti-imperialism, divergent class line. Infrared's critique of this milieu is that without proletarian class content, "socialist" aesthetics on the right collapse into Strasserism — racial scapegoating substituting for the abolition of capital (see A. James Gregor, Constantin von Hoffenmeister).
