Arktos Media (founded 2009, headquartered in Hungary) is the principal English-language publishing house of the European New Right — the press behind English editions of Alain de Benoist, Guillaume Faye, Alexander Dugin, and the Identitarian corpus.

Role

  • Translated and disseminated the GRECE school's "ethnopluralism," Dugin's Fourth Political Theory, and conservative-revolutionary classics into the anglophone alt-right's bookshelf during the 2010s.
  • Publishes Counter-Currents-adjacent and Identitarian authors; runs Arktos Journal.
  • Its catalog defines the intellectual supply chain of the post-2014 nationalist intelligentsia — the "readable right" beyond street activism.

Infrared's relation

Infrared treats Arktos' catalog as required counter-reading: the New Right's critique of liberalism, egalitarianism, and American hegemony is real and often sharp, but its answer — eternal ethno-cultural hierarchy replacing class analysis — is the Anglo Box turned inside out. Where the New Right replaces class with race, Infrared insists on the reverse: nation as the form, class as the content (see European New Right, Curtis Yarvin).
