Jason Unruhe is the Maoist (Third Worldist) YouTuber behind Maoist Rebel News — one of Haz Al-Din's early major debate opponents, their 2021 clashes marking Infrared's break with the online Marxist-Leninist mainstream.

- The exchanges crystallized the lines later formalized in InfraWiki: Unruhe's Third Worldism (revolution impossible in the imperial core; support actually-existing anti-imperialists abroad) versus Haz's emerging Americanism — that the revolution must be made here, in the belly of the beast, on the terrain of the American political tradition.
- From the first debate comes Haz's famous formulation on legality and revolution: you tell the people to follow the laws, "and if they, the government, starts violating its own laws and effectively collapses... then, as our Founding Fathers told us, you have a right to revolutionary action."
Significance
Unruhe represents the Third Worldist dead-end: correct anti-imperialism abroad converted into passivity at home. Infrared's answer — that the core can and must be revolutionized, and that patriotism is the form this takes — became MAGA Communism (Project Cyclone, Left-Conservatism).
