Mainstream media

Mainstream media, sometimes abbreviated as MSM, is a term used to describe popular corporate news sources such as CNN and MSNBC, which tend to promote the prevailing narrative pushed by the imperialists and warmongers.

The opposite of the mainstream media is alternative media.
