Not to be confused with historical revisionism.
Revisionism refers to the supplanting of revolution by tranquil economic evolution. Revisionism robs Marxism of Leninism, the revolutionary spirit of Marxism. Another word for Revisionism is Reformism. The ultimate knowledge to be learned from the revisionists is simply: to go to sleep, ignoring the role revolutionary working masses as a catalyst for change in history, simply waiting for economic conditions to "ripen" on their own. Some collected revisionists include: Economist so-called 'Orthodox Marxists' (those who deny the history of socialism and states beyond the dead letter of Marx), the CIA Frankfurt School NATO collaborators, Menshevik Trotskyites, Lefebvre, Karl Kautsky, Eduard Bernstein, DSA, etc
