Deduction

From InfraWiki

Deduction is the inference by reasoning from the universal to the particular. The First Principles are already arrived at, in this kind of reasoning.

Plato's discussions of the first principles in his works, makes him a philosopher who used deductive method to talk about the monotheistic and spiritual good. It also makes him an idealist philosopher.
