Jimmy Carter

From InfraWiki

Jimmy Carter — the liberal system's own progenitor forced into honesty on Palestine.

> "If you read Jimmy Carter's own memoirs — even politicians like Jimmy Carter, who were progenitors of the global liberal system, the progressive unipolar one of the U.S. — even he is forced to acknowledge the great injustice that's going on... Senior U.S. officials, think tanks, politicians, all of them, privately or in some cases publicly, acknowledge there is a Palestinian right to self-determination."

The context

The liberal order absorbed past struggles (Reagan absorbing MLK's whitewashed civil rights; same with South African apartheid) — but Palestine is the "inconvenient situation" it cannot absorb. When even Carter concedes the injustice, the system's moral vocabulary is exhausted (Anglo Box, Laura Loomer).
