> "I don't know what that is. But I will say that the Patriotic Socialist label was not something we liked. We didn't like it because it was just too much like Democratic socialism... we probably have a different goal, which is ultimately about the actual CPUSA — even the organization party I plan on building and launching."
The entryism lesson
In later controversy over a former member with a Nazi past (Heated political debate stream), Haz drew it explicitly: real Nazis "rarely ever fronted this way... they always concealed their real views. 'Oh, I'm just a kind of syndicalist or whatever.' Deep down they're just full Hitler." The PSF-era experience — opportunists gathering under patriotic-socialist branding — is why the ACP keeps "zero tolerance for any kind of active collaboration or connection with any kind of fascist, neo-Nazi, far-right."
"Patsoc" was the early external label; the movement moved through Mecha-Tankies to MAGA Communism to escape both the Dem-soc sound of it and the entryist milieu under it (MAGA Communism, Strasserism).
