Racism (sometimes called "racialism") is a form of chauvinism which holds a given race, ethnicity, or skin color to be inherently superior, and others to be inherently effective or inferior.
Racism is a means by which ruling classes deflect attention to and criticism of their crimes onto a scapegoat population. Additionally, it often takes the form of jingoism, such as the dehumanization of Russians, Slavs, Roma, etc by Nazi Germany; that of Arabs and particularly Palestinians by Israel and it's allies; that of Russians by Ukrainian nationalists during the Russo-Ukrainian War; etc.
