Sovinform is the media and research brand of Saed Teymuri. His analysis is historical materialist (Marxist), and his research often cites declassified info from Western intelligence agencies exposing their own crimes and lies.
Teymuri rigorously cites all of his claims, so they can be verified by any reader. This is in contrast to some bourgeois historians like Simon Sebag Montefiore, who lack in-text citations and instead rely on their name brand, propped up by bourgeois academia, to "validate" their unsubstantiated claims.
Teymuri has compiled years of research into an 850-page book entitled The History of the USSR and the People's Democracies, complete with screenshots of all primary source documents. Link below.
Teymuri has transitioned into researching the Middle East. He argues for Saddam Hussein being an agent of Western imperialism for most of his rule. He also analyzes Iran as having a socially moderate Golden Center opposed by neoliberals and ultra-conservatives who both serve Western interests.
