From the streams
Scott Ritter gets mocked in Haz's streams — not for his Iraq record but for the hero-worship economy around him.
Riffing on Caleb Maupin's rally aesthetics — white suit, megaphone, seniors in blue shirts: "They're making it seem like he's a hero... 'Scott Ritter! Scott Ritter!' This guy always lies all the time. He's always just bullshitting all the time... Imagine: a room with 12 senior citizens told to wear blue shirts, and you wear the white outfit."[1]
The critique is of alt-media's oracle-figure economy, not necessarily the Iraq-inspection record itself. Haz's method elsewhere runs on documents and physical evidence — the laptop, Douma, OPCW — not authority figures of either establishment or anti-establishment variety (OPCW, Bread and Circuses).
